We’re immensely proud of what we’ve accomplished and grateful for the unwavering support of our customers, partners, and team members who make it all possible. This year brought innovations, milestones, and memorable moments that we’re excited to share with you.
Cutting-Edge Advancements: A New Laser Cutting Machine
In 2024, we made a game-changing investment in a new laser cutting machine, which has revolutionized our operations. This state-of-the-art technology has eliminated the bottlenecks we previously faced in laser cutting, enabling us to work faster and more efficiently than ever before. With 100% precision, this machine ensures that every project we undertake is completed to the highest standard of quality. By increasing our capacity and streamlining production, we’re better equipped to meet the growing demands of our customers while maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Enhanced Efficiency with a New CNC Machine
Our commitment to delivering top-tier products was further strengthened by the addition of a cutting-edge CNC machine. This new equipment allows us to handle multiple jobs simultaneously, increasing our output without compromising on quality. Its precision and versatility have opened up new opportunities for us to take on more complex projects, and it’s already making a significant impact on our ability to serve you better. With these technological upgrades, we’re excited to bring even more value to our customers in the years to come.
Renlaw for the Win!
Renlaw has received not one, but two business awards this year! The first is the Corporate LiveWire Innovation and Excellence Awards – for which Renlaw is the 2024 winner!
The second award comes from the MEA markets’ annual MEA Business awards, where Renlaw has been named Most Innovative Industrial Machine Tooling Solutions Company 2024 – South Africa. We’d like to extend a big “thank you” to our teams for making this happen!
A Heartwarming Engagement at Renlaw
This year wasn’t just about machines—it was also about creating memorable moments. One such highlight was the engagement of our Marketing Manager, who got engaged right here at Renlaw! Her fiancé staged the proposal at a replica of the expo booth where they first met, with the help of some of our team and our Managing Director, Mikko Brunner. It was a beautiful moment that reminded us all of the importance of connection and the family-like culture we cherish at Renlaw.
Milestones and New Faces: Growing the Renlaw Family
2024 was a year of celebration for several of our dedicated team members. Two employees reached impressive milestones: Ricardo marked 10 years of service, and Eben celebrated an incredible 20 years with the company. These milestones reflect Renlaw’s commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture where employees feel valued and supported.
We also saw exciting internal promotions. Rowan, who previously served as a CNC operator, has been promoted to Assistant Production Manager. With his natural leadership skills, dedication, and sharp intellect—bolstered by his background as a qualified Maths teacher—Rowan already excels in his new role. His ability to manage and guide teams is proving invaluable to our production processes.
Similarly, Leslene, our long-time receptionist, has transitioned into a full-time admin and logistics position. A qualified primary school teacher, her organizational expertise and people skills have been an incredible asset as she takes on her new role. Interestingly, we’ve discovered a trend at Renlaw: our Sales & Marketing Manager, Amy, is also a qualified preschool teacher! It seems teaching experience translates perfectly into managing and supporting teams, ensuring communication and collaboration flourish!
In November, we welcomed two new team members who will contribute greatly in 2025. Sam has joined as our new receptionist, freeing up Leslene for her new role. Meanwhile, Keisha has come on board as our “job chaser,” tasked with meticulously tracking every job in the system to ensure no details are missed. Their energy and expertise have already started making an impact, and we’re excited about what lies ahead.

The advancements we’ve made in technology and the growth of our team this year set us up for even greater achievements in the coming year. These improvements will allow us to continue delivering top-quality service to our customers while ensuring our processes remain seamless and efficient.
